Do you have a good idea for a book, but need help writing and finding a publisher? Richard can help!

Examples:

With Rick Harrison, Richard co-authored "Prefurbia," a book that presents Rick’s innovative planning concepts (www.rhsdplanning.com). Richard also worked with Rick to produce a comprehensive book proposal, which was sent to more than a dozen literary agents and several publishers. Three agents responded with offers to represent the book. The book was published in 2008 by Sustainable Land Development International.

Richard edited two book-length essays: “Architecture in Minnesota at the Turn of the Century,” by Alan K. Lathrop and “Purcell & Elmslie, Architects,” by Mark Hammons. The University of Delaware Press published the essays in 1994 in "Life on the Upper Mississippi, 1890-1915: Minnesota 1900," in conjunction with an exhibition of the same name at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts. Michael Conforti, general editor of the book and curator of the exhibition, said, “[Richard] was tireless in his effort to direct the essays and he succeeded in every way, making them both readable as well as cogent. Each one is now a serious contribution to the field.” (complete letter from Michael Conforti available from Richard on request)
